Mahama to address Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission’s 92nd annual convention

President John Dramani Mahama is set to address the 92nd Annual Jalsa (Convention) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission at Pomadze in the Central Region.

This will be his first public engagement after being sworn into office on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

The convention is under the theme, “Justice and Peace: The Essential Ingredients for National Development” and seeks to highlight the pivotal role of fairness and harmony in advancing Ghana’s progress and unity.

President Mahama’s address, scheduled for the second day of the event is expected to focus on interfaith collaboration, justice and peace as cornerstones of sustainable national development.

The three-day event  will draw thousands of Ahmadi Muslims and dignitaries from across Ghana and beyond, underscoring the Mission’s dedication to fostering spiritual and social cohesion.”

It will be chaired by the Ameer and Missionary in Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Alhaj Maulana Noor Mohammed Bin Salih.
